Valeo is actively seeking a Buy-Side Investment Analyst. As part of our analyst program, you will be an integral part of our Investments Team, gaining exposure to various aspects of buy-side investment research and portfolio management. This rotational program is designed to develop your expertise in equity, fixed income, alternative investments, and portfolio management providing a strong foundation for a successful career on the buy-side.

Note: We are looking for an undergraduate with a desired graduation date of December 2024 or June of 2025

Responsibilities:

• In-depth analysis of public fund managers, individual stocks and bonds
• Conducting due diligence on alternative investment managers and private products
• Monitoring macroeconomic trends and public markets
• Collaborating with senior team members in the management of client portfolios by providing research-based recommendations and insights
• Preparing research reports and presentations for investment committees
• Assisting with researching, monitoring, and evaluating investments technology, tools, and applications
• Creating educational content on investment and economic topics

Requirements

• CFA Level I or progress towards CFA designation is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, specifically advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
