Client Service Relationship Manager

Department: Operations
Location: Carmel, IN

Position Overview:

The Client Service Relationship Manager (CSRM) plays a crucial role in supporting the firm’s operations and advisory practices. This position is responsible for independently managing various levels of complexity of client service needs, ensuring accuracy in all custodial and compliance-related activities, and serving as a trusted resource to both advisors and internal team members. The CSRM is expected to demonstrate leadership, sound judgment, and a high degree of initiative in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Upon successful completion of training, this role may be eligible for a hybrid arrangement as long as performance standards are met and maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary service contact for assigned advisors, handling complex service needs with minimal oversight.
  • Independently manage account openings, custodial transactions, and money movement processes, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a subject matter resource for escalated or high-touch service cases, such as complex account structures or tax-sensitive transactions.
  • Anticipate advisor and client needs and proactively drive resolutions.
  • Monitor and audit custodial activity for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare wire transfers/ACH for distributions and coordinate the approval/distribution process.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed to support the growth and development of the advisor's practice.
  • Manage complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment and initiative.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members as needed.
  • Support operational initiatives and suggest process improvements based on front-line insights.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in client service or operations within financial services.
  • Direct experience with Fidelity Wealthscape preferred.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to be proactive and decisive.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex service issues independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or college coursework is strongly preferred.
